New Defence park comes up at Ottapallam in Palakkad

Kerala government has set up a defence park in Ottapallam in Palakkad district in Kerala. The defence park was developed at a cost of ₹ 1309 million under the guidance of KINFRA (Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corp). The park will produce equipment needed for the armed forces and ancillary spare parts. Land will be leased to entrepreneurs for 30 years lease and can also extend it to 90 years.

The park will have a common facility centre, an administrative building, three warehouses, common utility centre, and conference rooms.
