MPS Steel Castings Pvt Ltd is planning an expansion programme at its Kanjijode steel plant in Palakkad in Kerala. The company plans to set up a mild steel ingots unit with a 2×25 Tons induction furnace unit and a steel rolling mill of 500 tpd. Coal requirement is estimated at 81000 tpa. The total project cost is estimated at 1020 million.
