Kerala Irrigation Infrastructure Development Corporation (KIIDC) is planning to extend the Moolathara right bank canal from Korayar to Varattayar in Palakkad. The corporation has invited bids to award the EPC contract to develop the project.
The project cost is estimated at ₹ 255.18 crore and is being funded by Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB).
